Claude will now review your code before you ship
CLAUDE CODE WEEKLY
Code review, without a second human
Plus permission prompts you can finally trust at a glance.
Hey there, quiet week on flashy features, useful week on the boring stuff that bites beginners. Three things worth knowing.
`/review` and `/code-review` are now the same command, and it got smarter. Type it and Claude looks over the changes you just made and tells you what looks wrong. You can pick how hard it thinks: `/code-review high`, or `/code-review ultra` when you want the deep pass. It remembers the level you chose last time, so you only say it once. This is the closest thing you have to a senior dev reading your work before you ship it.
The permission popup now shows you the whole command. Before, a command could be padded with sneaky spacing or invisible characters so part of it stayed hidden while you clicked approve. That gap is closed. You are back to reading exactly what you are agreeing to, which is the entire point of that popup.
Resumed sessions actually resume now. If you picked up yesterday's work and Claude came back blank, or every message you sent hit an error screen, that was a bug and it is fixed. Nothing for you to do differently.
- Very long conversations now get trimmed automatically instead of quietly overflowing and breaking.
- Working in Claude's cloud sessions? It now tells you how to carry that same session on to your own machine.
